Please elaborate "visualization" and "transparency" enabled by ADAP.

Answer
By the visualization or transparency enabled by ADAP, all members involved can understand the production information in the relevant production lines, and have a comprehensive understanding of the entire SCM.

If you are in a production line, you can easily track the entire path of your product throughout the supply chain. Today's production schedule, for example, links to which order and to which downstream production line, and how long the product will be kept in a warehouse to be shipped, and when it will be delivered to the hand of the customer, such information can be easily obtained in ADAP. Being able to estimate the potential impact due to delays, you can make your decisions for countermeasures promptly.

If you are in sales, you can view and trace the entire linkage up to the upper process, like which production schedule links to your customer order, how far the production has been progressed, or which inventory corresponds to the order.

Since all participants in both upper and lower processes have access to the same information, it becomes easier to communicate to each other and take countermeasures collaboratively, and mutual understandings deepen as a result. Such common view creates an environment for a better collaboration which realizes production management that balances both the conditions of the production site and timely demand and supply.
