What is APS?

What kind of system is APS? How is ADAP different from the other APS systems?

Answer
APS is short for Advanced Planning and Scheduling, which is an approach to plan daily scheduling and material qualification planning synchronously with consideration to facility loads.

APS is short for Advanced Planning and Scheduling, which is an approach to plan daily scheduling and material qualification planning synchronously with consideration to facility loads.

Our APS controls the production schedule most efficiently by considering facility loads. Prior to busy seasons, for example, it will schedule to produce more stocks in advance for the greater demand, and in slow seasons on the other hand, it schedules to produce closer to shipping dates so that the number of stock would be reduced.

Even under such circumstances that facility loads fluctuate widely, ADAP would adjust scheduling for optimized production.
